Crocodile conservation at Mahad

A collaborative effort to aid crocodile conservation at Savitri River, Mahad, Maharashtra. Crocodile rescue cages were handed over to Forest dept. Infographic display boards were installed around the city to raise conservation consciousness.

Habitat Restoration at SGNP, Mumbai

Habitat restoration at Sanjay Gandhi National Park at land recovered from removing encroachments. Restoring forests in the area cleared of encroachments is creating new forest and extending the boundaries of SGNP. .

Farmers for Birds conservation, Pune

A project to connect village communities living in periphery of Sudhagad Wildlife Sanctuary, directly with biodiversity conservation and to repair vital ecological connections and ecological practices which are getting lost over time. .

Tree of the Year Challenge 2025

Tree of the Year campaign has been initiated by FORREST to re-connect people with Trees. It is an attempt to cure "plant blindness" in people who tend to ignore and overlook beautiful native trees which leads to disconnect and tendency to harm trees without emotions. This is a campaign to celebrate Indian trees and share their stories with the world.
